Kunstlandet

Welcome to Kunstlandet

Kunstlandet is a vibrant artistic landscape in the heart of Jutland. Here, you’ll encounter acclaimed contemporary art, iconic architecture, and monumental works in the open air—all brought together in an area where art isn’t just found on walls, but also in the landscape, the urban space, and in the way we experience the place itself.

With world-class museums, exceptional sculptures, and mural paintings under the open sky, Kunstlandet is (perhaps) Denmark’s largest open-air art museum—and certainly a place that stirs the senses and the mind.

Embark on the most beautiful art journey of the summer in Kunstlandet

Kunstlandet invites you to experience our Art with Edge and Curves. Art with Edge and Curves is a summer invitation to encounter art unfiltered and (almost) without a roof overhead. To let yourself be struck and seduced. To give yourself permission to walk a little offbeat—and a little in circles—while seeing the world anew.

In Kunstlandet, you meet art in all its forms—and forms matter. Here, edge and curve are not just physical expressions, but ways of experiencing the towns and landscapes.

THE EDGE challenges. It cuts into the landscape, poses questions, and demands to be seen. It’s the art that provokes, highlights the raw, the skewed, the uncomfortable—and makes room for reflection.

THE CURVE seduces. It draws you in, embraces, and shapes an aesthetic experience where materials, light, and space interact. It’s art that can be felt—in the body, in the gaze, and in the way you move.

In the meeting of edge and curve, a field of tension arises—between the sharp and the soft, the conceptual and the sensory, the architectural and the organic. This is where Kunstlandet comes to life. Where museums, sculptures, and landscapes don’t just exhibit art—but are art.
