Yes, the museums are wheelchair accessible and offer disabled parking. Many of the outdoor artworks are also accessible, but some areas may have uneven terrain.
Contact the museums if you have specific needs.

You’ll find cafés and restaurants at several of the museums and in the city – ranging from a quick coffee to a good meal. Some places also have picnic areas. 

There are many good hotels, B&Bs, and holiday rentals in and around Herning. Check out accommodation options at visitherning.com for inspiration. Maybe you should even spend the night inside the art at Art Hotel Dalgas?

By car:
Herning, Ikast, and Brande are centrally located and easy to reach via the motorways. There is free parking at the museums and in the towns near several outdoor artworks.

By train and bus:
The stations have connections from, among other places, Aarhus, Vejle, and Holstebro. Local buses and walking distances make it easy to get around. See more at www.rejseplanen.dk

Yes, a ticket is required for the indoor museums. You can buy tickets directly from the museums. All outdoor artworks are free of charge. At Deep Forest Art Land, visitors are kindly asked to support with a voluntary entrance fee.
Also, keep an eye out for combined tickets, discounts, and special summer offers.

You can experience art in Kunstlandet all year round. The outdoor sculptures and artworks in the open are accessible around the clock, while the museums have individual opening hours.

We know the match will not be sold out, and we therefore state in the daily programme which matches will be shown from Sweden.

On Denmark matchdays:
The day’s matches from Jyske Bank Boxen will be shown on the big screen in the fan zone if sold out.
Instead, the matches between xxx – xxx from Stockholm will be shown.

Herning city centre:
Toilet trailers have been installed at Torvet and Tinghuspladsen during the Ice Hockey World Championship.

Yes, you can book storage for your belongings at Jyske Bank Boxen.

There will be a GoCollective departure at 22:52 from MCH Messecenter Herning (unmanned halt) arriving at Herning Station at 22:55 every day from May 9th to May 22nd.

The late matches end around 22:30–22:35, which means there will be approximately 17–22 minutes to exit Jyske Bank Boxen and walk via the path system to the platform at Messecenter Herning Station. In Herning city, there will be 6, 14, and 40 minutes respectively to transfer towards Vejle, Struer, and Aarhus.

It is strictly forbidden to fly drones in the airspace around the event without prior police approval. If you violate this rule and fly your drone anyway, it will be confiscated.

As the drone owner, it is your responsibility to check which regulations apply to the airspace.

You are allowed to bring flags, banners, and wear clothing without political messages in Jyske Bank Boxen.

Please note the following restrictions:

Only the official national flags of participating countries may be brought. Flags and banners must be of reasonable size and a maximum of 1 m high x 1.5 m long. Flags must not obstruct the view of other guests. If they do, security will ask you to take them down.
 

Flagpoles made of plastic material are allowed but must be no longer than 60 cm including the flag. Metal or wooden items are not allowed.
 

For safety reasons, large tifos are not allowed. Any tifo must consist of smaller individual pieces, max 1 m high x 1.5 m long per piece.

• Whether the application is on behalf of a fan group (include number of participants and seating area)

NOTE: Drums must not disturb other ticket holders or obstruct views. They must not be placed in aisles or stairways. If this occurs, relocation may be required. As the drum owner, you are responsible for removing the drum from emergency exits and evacuation routes in case of an emergency.

  Note: This list is not exhaustive. These items will be denied entry. Avoid frustration and save time for yourself and others by leaving these items at home.

Upon arrival at the event, you will pass through tented security checkpoints. There are two entrances, and security checks will be performed for safety reasons. After the security check, you gain access to the fanzone area, where you can stay without a ticket. Your ticket will be scanned only when you enter Jyske Bank Boxen itself, where you must use entrance 4 or 5.

All tickets will be scanned.

Cloakroom for jackets etc. is available in Jyske Bank Boxen after your ticket has been scanned (opens 1 hour before the first game).

Ticketmaster’s Service Center can be reached at +45 3848 1630, Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 16:30. The service center is closed on Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays.

The Official Fanzone opens two hours before the first game of the day.

Yes, you can enter the Official Fanzone without a ticket. For security reasons, you will be subject to a security check upon arrival. Tickets will only be scanned when you enter Jyske Bank Boxen.

Vegan and vegetarian dishes will be available at selected stalls in Jyske Bank Boxen and in the Official Fanzone. Gluten-free products will also be available at selected stalls.

Yes, electric car charging is available.

Yes, parking is free on P2, P3, and P5.

VIP guests and cars with disability plates are directed to P1.

Children aged 3 and under at the time of the game are free, as long as they sit on the lap of an adult with a seat ticket. The child’s age must be documented when scanning the ticket.

The listed prices include Ticketmaster’s ticket fee of DKK 30.

If you require a companion due to a physical or mental disability, the companion ticket is free of charge. Note that there is a limited number of companion tickets. These tickets are available in Cat3 and Cat4. Companion tickets can be purchased via Ticketmaster Service Center at +45 3848 1633 and via the arena’s ticket sales at +45 9926 9999.

Wheelchair spaces grant access for one wheelchair user + one free companion. Seats are priced as Cat2. There will also be a companion+ scheme, which means additional companion seats can be purchased directly behind the wheelchair section.

Wheelchair spaces can be purchased via Ticketmaster’s Service Center at +45 3848 1633 and via the arena’s ticket sales at +45 9926 9999.
If no more wheelchair spaces are available, you may request to be put on a waiting list in case the organizer can open more spaces later. Requests can be made by contacting Ticketmaster’s Service Center at +45 3848 1633.

No, there are no dedicated fan sections for fans of individual nations. However, we expect a red-and-white wall of passionate fans in the stands and surrounding Cat3 seats during Denmark’s games.
Fans from other countries are advised to contact their national federation, which can coordinate with the organizer about buying group sections in the arena.

The team listed first in the match schedule (NAT vs. NAT) is the home team. They start at the end where the standing terrace is located and play the first and third periods in that end.

A seat in the restaurant with a view of the arena, the audience, and the ice. In our Premium Lounge, you’ll enjoy a 3-course plated menu and unlimited drinks. The price is DKK 2,999 per person excl. VAT with exclusive seating just outside the restaurant.

You can purchase a maximum of 20 tickets. This means, for example, a maximum of 10 day tickets with two games per day. If you wish to buy more than 20 tickets, please contact Ticketmaster Service Center at +45 3848 1630.

The ticket purchase limit exists to help prevent credit card fraud.

Refunds are only issued in the event of game cancellations. If you wish to sell your tickets, we recommend using Ticketmaster Resale. The same applies if you want to purchase tickets from others. This way, you ensure a secure purchase within the rules.

Day tickets
Grants access to all games on the given match day. A day ticket is valid for all matches on the specific day. This means you’ll get a minimum of two and a maximum of three games with a day ticket. You can purchase day tickets from October 3, 2024, via Ticketmaster. You save up to around 10% on day tickets (compared to single match tickets).

Single match tickets
Grants access to the specific, individual game. Single match tickets will go on sale at the beginning of 2025 and only for matches that are not already sold out. Therefore, you are not guaranteed a ticket for your preferred single match.

Taxa
You can go directly with GoShuttle, a company who drives from BLL to Herning daily.

Rent a car and drive to Herning. 

Train or bus
Go to rejseplanen.com and see schedules for trains and busses. 

In Herning Municipality you can book shelters here.

In Ikast-Brande Municipality, some shelters can be booked, while others cannot. Please check the individual shelters for availability.

The Street Artworks can be seen until the weather and wind destroys them. We count on them being available until November each year.

You can buy a fishing licence online at www.fisketegn.dk

Extra buses will be used for large events in Herning. The shuttle buses depart from Herning Station, platform 7. There is a large sign that says “shuttle”. After the concert/event/fair, the shuttle buses leave from the parking lot by MCH for the station again, until no more people are waiting in line.
